How much money do freelance writers make in California per month?

Writers that freelance have no guarantees as to what they make monthly. It all depends on how much they can produce, in the number and size of articles, and how much is accepted by the publication(s) they submit them to.
I submit some articles that are declined. Others are trimmed massively and since I’m paid per word that impacts the payment for each one.
If you need a steady income find a full time job that is not geared on production like freelance writing.
