sure, one thing you have to do is travel a lot. I mean who would want to read that kind of book if you have not been there

I am looking for good, experienced and affordable writers. It’s for ongoing projects.
Can you please direct me to good website where I can find them?
Thank!
Consider this company, their writers have those qualification you’ve been looking for. You are always welcome to visit their site.
I want to win a job on Elance.com. I just started so I have no previous work listed on the site but have a good portfolio from 2 previous employers I posted. I just need to start somewhere.
Should I try offering my services for dirt cheap just to get experience as a freelancer (say $50 for a logo design) or $7-8 /hr. I am a great designer but can’t seem to win a bid. I also might try to guarantee my work.
$7-8???!!! Damn man, that’s close to minimum wage. Don’t undersell yourself. A lot of newer designers think they can win jobs by undercutting prices on the competition, but this can work against you.
Professionals know that designers cost money, and the really good ones cost alot (and rightfully so), but when they see your prices they may be thinking that nobody who knows what they’re doing and has confidence in their work would charge so little.
If you think about it…it makes sense. Say you went shopping for a car and a listing in the paper said "2009 Ford Mustang – never been driven……$100 bucks". Sounds to good to be true, and things like that usually are. That may be what’s scaring potential clients from your service.
Don’t forget, you have a specialized skill that demands fair compensation, and while it may feel counter-intuitive to charge good money for your work, that’s what you should be doing. You’ll be doing yourself and our profession a favor.
I want to be a Journalist. I want to work in news. I want to spend my life researching, writing and reporting. That is all turning out to be more difficult than I expected. I am 24 years old right now. I got started late in college because I joined the military right out of high school. Now, I am close to finishing a two-year degree at a community college, and I am trying to get an internship of some kind at any newspaper. I’m doing free-lance writing for a county newspaper, but I have only been given three stories for the entire summer. Anywhere else I look, it seems I need a BA and three years experience before anyone will even talk to me. How can I get my foot in the door of Journalism when everywhere requires a foot in the door for an interview!? I like writing. Every teacher I’ve had in college has told me I’m an execellent writer. What else do I need? I’m mostly worried because I don’t think I can afford to go to a university.
sorry sorry sorry
i meant to post this in the media and journalism site and there was a mix up
